Creative Evenings & Mornings
There's something deeply calming about working with your hands. Even more so when the material comes from animals you were just watching on the pasture. In our Creative Evenings and Mornings, I'll show you how to work with our alpaca wool — from carding to felting to spinning. No prior experience needed. Just a willingness to try something new.
We work in our workshop room right next to the pasture. Through the large windows, you can watch the alpacas while you craft your own piece. I'll explain the fibre properties, why alpaca wool is so special and which techniques work best for beginners. In between, we take a little break — for me, that's simply part of it.
At the end, you take your finished piece home. Whether it's a felted flower, a small cushion or a skein of hand-spun yarn — you'll be surprised what's possible in three hours. And the best part: you'll know exactly which alpaca your wool came from.

Good to know
Wear clothes that can handle a bit of wool — fibres sometimes float through the air. The workshop room is heated and usable year-round. Allergy note: alpaca wool contains no lanolin and is much more tolerable than sheep's wool.
